Accessibility is core to our mission — we make language tools that are accessible to children of all abilities, and this website should be no different.
Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Measures on this site include:
- Color contrast — text colors are checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios
- Keyboard navigation — every link and control is reachable and usable by keyboard, with visible focus indicators and a skip-to-content link
- Semantic structure — proper headings, landmarks, and navigation labels for screen readers
- Language tagging — Punjabi (ਪੰਜਾਬੀ) text is marked with the correct language attribute so screen readers pronounce it properly
- Reduced motion — animations are disabled for visitors who prefer reduced motion
- Responsive text — the layout works with browser zoom and larger text sizes
Known limitations
This is a small site and we review it regularly. If anything doesn’t work with your screen reader, keyboard, or other assistive technology, that’s a bug we want to fix.
